Job summary

ServiceNow in the United Kingdom is seeking a VIPR/VMDR Expert to lead vulnerability discovery, detection, enrichment, prioritization, and coordinated response across EMEA customer environments.

You will combine vulnerability lifecycle management with exploit intelligence, detection automation, and cross-functional coordination with ITSM, Security Engineering, and Cloud Infrastructure to keep customers ahead of threats and exposures across hybrid architectures.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years in Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence, or Security Detection Engineering.
• Deep expertise in CVSS, CWE/CVE, NVD, KEV, EPSS.
• Hands-on with vulnerability and detection platforms (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Wiz, Prisma Cloud, ServiceNow VR, Centrix for VMDR).
• Automation scripts and data pipelines (Python, PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, JSON).
• RBVM and prioritization scoring models familiarity.
• Cloud-native security, container scanning, hybrid infra (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exceptional data storytelling for execs.
• Independent and team player with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end vulnerability and detection lifecycle from discovery to remediation and reporting.
• Lead VIPR/VMDR function with threat intel, exploit data, and asset context.
• Correlate internal telemetry with external feeds to assess exploitability.
• Operate and tune tools across hybrid customer environments.
• Automate scoring, detection correlation, and reporting pipelines.
• Collaborate with CS, Security Eng, and Cloud Infra to track SLAs and MTTR.
• Publish risk dashboards and executive briefings.
• Deliver training and enablement sessions for customers and engineers.
