King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an exceptional individual with a background in mental health or social work to join their clinical vulnerabilities team. The successful candidate will lead efforts to support vulnerable individuals and collaborate with various teams to enhance care delivery. This is a unique opportunity to impact patient care positively within a leading UK Trust.
We are seeking exceptional individuals with either a background in mental health, general or learning disabilities, midwifery, or social work experience to support the expansion of the clinical vulnerabilities team at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The postholder will play a pivotal role in the care and support of individuals who may be at risk of abuse, in addition to supporting the overarching strategy to facilitate a trauma-informed approach within the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new and developing service, working closely with the Director of Nursing for Safeguarding and Vulnerable People, the Lead Nurse for Vulnerabilities, the Associate Director of Nursing for Mental Health, and other senior safeguarding/vulnerability leads. The postholder will collaborate closely with operational teams to support the delivery of a coherent trauma-informed vulnerabilities service across all sites within the Trust.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an expert clinical and professional practitioner to work collaboratively and innovatively with colleagues from within the Trust, local authorities, and other external stakeholders and agencies to coordinate care and support.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a complex caseload and make sound judgments.
