Job summary

The role offers broad exposure across transaction tax operations, with accountability for SDRT, Stamp Duty, FTT and related duties, plus driving process improvement, automation, and reporting to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience within Tax Operations, Wealth Operations, Custody Operations, Asset Servicing, Settlements, or Financial Services Operations.
• Strong understanding of transaction taxes including SDRT, Stamp Duty, Irish Stamp Duty, Financial Transaction Tax, PTM Levy, or related tax processing activities.
• Experience supporting operational controls, reconciliations, exception management, and risk oversight.
• Proven people leadership and team management experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• Experience working within highly regulated financial services environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a specialist operational team responsible for transaction tax processing, controls, client servicing, and operational oversight within a highly regulated environment.
• Produce operational MI, performance metrics, and reporting.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational, client, and risk-related matters.
• Manage relationships with clients, operational teams, and key stakeholders.
