An exciting, fast-growing VC-backed media company is seeking a VP of Finance to join its dynamic team in London. The role will report directly to the CEO and involve growing the finance function.

The VP of Finance will work closely with the CEO and executive team, providing strategic financial guidance and insight. Responsibilities include developing and implementing financial strategies to support business objectives, leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. The role requires overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and providing accurate, timely financial reports to the board and investors, along with insights and recommendations based on financial analysis. The VP will act as a key liaison with investors, auditors, and external stakeholders. M&A experience is essential, including evaluating and executing M&A opportunities, due diligence, valuation, and integration of acquired businesses to drive growth.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an SME or startup environment, establishing the finance function from the ground up, and hands-on experience with fundraising. They should be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
