Job summary

Mizuho EMEA seeks a Vice President for Loan Agency Administration to support the LAA Leadership Team in London and across MEA. The role ensures BAU, mitigates operational risk, and drives change with technology integration, while liaising with front office, lenders, and borrowers.

You will supervise processes, safeguard exceptions, and maintain robust controls, contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Great organisational and time management skills.
• Customer-centric career experience.
• Demonstrable ability to innovate, support change and problem solve.
• Collaborative nature to contribute to a successful team performance.
• Demonstrable detailed Loan products knowledge.
• Demonstrable understanding of Loans documentation.
• Ability and enthusiasm for Lending products.
• Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel/ Powerpoint/ Word, Outlook & Teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, prepayments, guarantee bookings, transfers, new deals, and fees are processed accurately as Agent.
• Process primary and secondary trades timely and accurately.
• Communicate with Customers, Relationship Managers and Participant Banks to ensure facilities are correctly handled.
• Monitor the group email box and take necessary action.
• Control nostro outstandings tightly.
• Report delayed items and provide updates on investigations to the Director.
• Assist in department reporting and internal controls.
• Support projects and ad hoc tasks to expand Group capabilities.
• Supervise a team and maintain all processes and procedures.
• Work independently while maintaining strong links with the Team and the group.
