Job summary

Mizuho in London is seeking a Loans Operations professional to support the VP & Director in running the Loan Department across ECFC. The role involves handling agency, syndicated and bilateral deals, ensuring timely, accurate processing in line with SLAs, and engaging with customers and banks to meet requirements.

You will support reporting, internal controls, and cross-team collaboration, with the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement at Mizuho House and the London Old Bailey Office.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in loan operations.
• Detailed knowledge of loan products and documentation.
• Proficiency with bank systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to motivate and supervise staff.
• Understanding of One Mizuho values and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure agency, syndicated and bilateral deals are processed accurately and timely.
• Process primary and secondary trades across teams.
• Communicate with customers, RM, and banks to fulfil requests per agreements.
• Control nostro outstandings and report delayed items.
• Assist in reporting and internal controls; support ad hoc projects.
