Citi is seeking a Vice President-level Full Stack Engineer to join the Strategic Equity Solutions team. You will design and build greenfield services for trader workflows, collaborating with business users worldwide and owning delivery from concept to production.

The role accommodates a hybrid work model with mentorship, continuous learning, and opportunities to influence global markets. Strong backend (Kotlin/Python), microservices, and DevOps expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Kotlin and/or Python backend development.
• Experience with microservices and containerization (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Experience with Python-based frontend frameworks (Dash/Streamlit).
• DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and trunk-based development.
• Understanding of front-office/trading workflows or related domain.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance back-end and front-end services in a hybrid agile team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate trading requirements into technical specifications.
• Lead code quality through tests and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best engineering practices.
• Evaluate new technologies including AI tooling to stay ahead.
