UFORCE, a defence-technology company with a London base, is hiring a VP of Financial Planning & Analysis to build and lead the FP&A function. You will construct the financial model from scratch, set planning processes, align targets with the CFO and executive team, and scale the function as data quality and workload grow.

This role demands hands-on modelling, budgeting experience, and the ability to challenge assumptions with board-ready analyses.

Qualificações

• Hands-on financial modelling built from scratch and defendable to investors.
• Budgeting and funding experience for major rounds and translating strategy into targets.
• Strong judgment on prioritization, deadlines, and cash risks.
• Business and spending judgment to differentiate growth investments from margin issues.
• Reporting discipline with reconciled figures, definitions, and assumptions.
• Commercial understanding of manufacturing, government or defence procurement, deployment costs, and multi-currency operations.
• People leadership and developing independent FP&A owners.
• Willingness to check AI-assisted output and explain the model live.

Responsabilidades

• Build integrated financial model with assumptions, scenarios, documentation, and maintenance.
• Turn strategy into targets, budgets, forecasts, and quarterly reviews.
• Run end-to-end planning: templates, deadlines, consolidation, forecasting calendar.
• Deliver monthly management and board reporting reconciled to actuals and budgets.
• Agree handover of actuals with Accounting and Controlling.
• Analyze product, contract, and customer economics with cross-functional teams.
• Link sales forecasts to contracts, milestones, revenue and receipts.
• Track budgets vs actuals and review hiring/investment costs.
• Maintain rolling cash forecast and runway with Treasury.
• Turn plan differences into funding recommendations and maintain a decision log.
• Review spending ratios, investigate anomalies, and hold owners accountable.
• Prepare board/investor content and keep evidence ready for financing.
• Hire and develop a small FP&A team across locations.
