THE ROLE:

We are looking for a highly hands‑on, commercially minded VP of FP&A to own Cognism’s planning, forecasting, reporting and performance analytics. You’ll build and lead a player‑manager FP&A function that delivers accurate forecasts, actionable insights, and a best‑in‑class KPI framework for a global SaaS business. The role partners closely with the CFO and collaborates across GTM, Product, CS, RevOps and Business Intelligence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own and run Cognism’s company‑wide forecasting, budgeting and long‑range planning processes.
  • Lead the monthly reporting cadence, delivering Executive and Board‑ready packs with clear insights.
  • Define and maintain Cognism’s SaaS KPI framework, including ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, payback and efficiency metrics.
  • Partner with BI to build automated dashboards and high‑quality analytics used across GTM, Product and Operations.
  • Deliver scenario modelling for strategic initiatives, hiring plans, pricing, market entry and capital allocation.
  • Provide business partnering to department heads, improving decision‑making, accountability and ROI.
  • Build and mentor a high‑performing FP&A team, balancing strategic leadership with deep hands‑on execution.
  • Strengthen data integrity and alignment across our core finance and BI environments.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Must have:

  • 10+ years’ FP&A or strategic finance experience in a SaaS/recurring revenue environment.
  • Strong command of financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Direct ownership of ARR, churn, pipeline, unit economics and SaaS performance drivers.
  • Proven experience producing Board‑level reporting and KPI frameworks.
  • Hands‑on operator with the ability to build as well as lead (player‑manager mindset).
  • Experience managing or implementing FP&A tools (Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, Mosaic, etc.).
  • Excellent cross‑functional partnership skills across GTM, Product, CS and Ops.
  • Strong communication, insight generation and executive‑ready presentation capability.

Advantageous:

  • Experience in multi‑entity, multi‑currency SaaS environments.
  • Background in accounting, data analytics or BI.
