Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the IPB Tech AIML team seeks a hands-on AI Solutions Engineer (Forward Deployed) at Vice President level. You will be embedded with business units to identify high-value AI opportunities and design, build, and ship practical AI/ML solutions.

You will prototype end-to-end deployments, collaborate to productionise and scale, and ensure governance and Responsible AI standards. Strong Python, full-stack skills, and ability to translate needs into funded workstreams are

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on AI/ML engineering concepts and applied experience.
Advanced Python and full-stack / generalist engineering ability to ship end-to-end solutions with modern practices.
Fluent with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as part of daily development.
Practical experience with Large Language Models, including prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic frameworks.
Hands-on experience taking solutions from prototype to production, including CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud-native deployment.
Proven ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders to elicit needs and frame problems.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to switch context across domains while shipping value.

Responsibilities

Embeds with IPB advisors, business teams, and product partners to discover high-value AI/ML opportunities.
Rapidly prototype and build agentic AI/LLM-powered solutions end-to-end to demonstrate value, then scale with the AIML team.
Owns solutions end-to-end during engagement: problem framing, build, demo, iteration, hand-off to production.
Acts as technical translator between business stakeholders and engineering, shaping opportunities into funded workstreams.
Balances speed of iteration with engineering, Responsible AI, governance, and guardrails.
Feeds reusable patterns back into the team's platform to scale engagements across clients.
Contributes to GenAI education and mentors junior engineers on solutioning and delivery.
