Job summary

Nomura Holdings, Inc. seeks a Business Control Manager, Instinet - Vice President to own financial data and analytical ownership for the Clearing & Settlement Services business. The role interfaces with Finance, Front Office, Technology, and other functions to govern data, models, and EUCs supporting invoicing and profitability.

The candidate will analyse cost and revenue drivers, provide insights, and develop models to ensure accurate representation of business economics and performance.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics or related discipline.
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience within an investment bank, broker-dealer, agency brokerage, clearing or financial-market infrastructure environment.
• Knowledge of cash equities, clearing and settlement and the associated trade lifecycle.
• Understanding of CCPs, CSDs, custodians, exchanges and associated infrastructure charging models.
• Significant prior experience in financial analysis, business analysis, management information or financial control.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial and analytical data provided by Business Operations to Finance for client invoicing and other financial processes.
• Oversight of relevant NPE and associated business costs and EUCs.
• Develop and maintain liquidity-related data, reporting and analytical models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand cost/revenue drivers and support decision-making.
• Manage End User Computing (EUC) tools and analytical activities in Business Control.
