Job summary

Nomura is seeking an experienced EMEA Head of Equities Product Control in London. You will lead the Equity Product Control function, interfacing with Trading, Structuring, Sales, Risk and IT to validate P&L, reserves and balance sheet controls.

The role involves managing a London-based team with offshore support, driving control improvements, and partnering with senior finance on new products and transactions while meeting governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the reporting of a comprehensive daily trading P&L and balance sheet with commentary.
• Challenge business performance and deployment of financial resources.
• Coordinate reviews of new products and transactions for senior management.
• Own relationships with Trading, Risk, IT and Finance stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to governance and control standards across the desk.
• Lead and develop a multi-location team including offshore resources.
