Job summary

Goldman Sachs is building a Prime Finance Engineering team in London to deliver high-impact financing projects. You will design, build and operate scalable platforms, partnering with trading, stock loan, inventory management, and SPG to enhance funding efficiency.

You will work in an agile, global, diverse environment, leveraging AI-driven development to understand codebases, generate production-quality code, and accelerate the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in STEM.
• 7+ years of professional software development in an OO language (Java, Python, C++, or other OO) including data structures and algorithms.
• Strong TDD and hands-on unit testing experience.
• Strong SDLC practices: version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated build/test/deploy workflows.
• Ability to navigate, understand, and debug large unfamiliar codebases—with AI assistance.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and good communication.
• Interest in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end engineering delivery of strategic funding initiatives from requirements to production.
