Job summary

State Street Corporation in London seeks a senior VP-level candidate to lead the electronic FX market-making program. You will own algorithms and risk models, guiding a quants team and shaping strategic direction for the platform.

You will apply statistical and ML techniques to high-frequency data, drive productionization from prototype to deployment, and collaborate with traders, technologists and risk stakeholders in a low-latency environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building or maintaining production quantitative trading systems.
• Experience leading, line-managing or mentoring a technical or quantitative team.
• PhD or MSc in a quantitative discipline preferred; strong publication record advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own a significant portfolio of eFX market-making algorithms and risk models.
• Lead and mentor a quantitative team, setting objectives and technical direction.
• Use public and proprietary data to identify new P&L opportunities and improve models.
