Job summary

State Street is seeking an eFX Alpha Quant Trader to extend our alpha strategies with production-grade research and deployment capabilities. You will develop and test systematic trading strategies, using public and proprietary data to generate robust P&L in live trading environments.

The role spans intraday to longer horizons, with expansion into additional instruments as alpha opportunities arise. A strong academic background and ML/AI experience are highly valued and you will collaborate with

Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree in a quantitative discipline (engineering, statistics, mathematics, physics, or similar).
• Experience with Python (preferred) or Matlab, R, etc.
• Java or C++ knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create profitable and robust trading signals, strategies, and models to contribute to P&L targets and eFX growth.
• Using public and proprietary data, identify new opportunities to generate P&L.
• Develop research from prototype to production.
• Analyze production trading models to identify improvements.
