Description

We are seeking a VP / Director Shipping Transaction Management to join our Transaction Management (TM) team. This is a mid-level, front office role within the bank.

As a player-coach, you will oversee key processes related to lending transactions and mentor junior bankers. You will collaborate with client relationship managers and sector experts to originate new lending transactions. The role involves working primarily in the Shipping sector but also engaging with other sectors. Interaction with clients, prospects, other banks, technical and legal advisors, and internal departments such as Credit Risk Management, Legal, and Deal Execution is essential.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing and processing credit approval packages efficiently.
• Financial modeling, including sensitivity analysis and assumption validation.
• Running internal risk models, including risk ratings and loan pricing, and coordinating with risk management.
• Managing deal execution processes.
• Preparing marketing materials.
• Participating in term sheet negotiations and legal documentation.
• Analyzing transaction structures and providing recommendations.
• Reviewing due diligence reports.
• Conducting comparative analysis of debt structures and pricing.
• Mentoring and coaching junior colleagues.

Candidate Profile
