Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Lead Engineer focused on UI products within the Digital Engineering team for Transaction Banking. You will drive design and implementation of core UI components, collaborate with backend teams, and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable web experiences.

You will work in a fast-paced, global environment, contributing to a consumer-grade digital experience and a resilient cloud-based platform used by corporate clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience using a modern UI programming language (Javascript/TypeScript).
• Experience building modern UI products using React.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex products with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience architecting, designing full stack apps in AWS.
• Prior experience with working on high availability, mission critical systems using active/active and blue-green deployment methodology.
• BS. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend UI components within the Digital Engineering stack and contribute to the UI strategy.
• Drive design and implementation of critical UI components with focus on code quality, automation and testability.
• Collaborate closely with backend teams, product owners, visual designers and business clients to deliver a consumer-grade digital experience.
• Support a highly scalable, 24x7 cloud-based platform for transaction banking products.
