Job summary

Funding Circle in London (Hybrid) seeks a seasoned VP Data to lead our data transformation and enterprise data strategy. You will direct teams across Data Engineering, Data Platform, and Data Product Management, shaping the next phase of our data modernization and AI-native ambitions.

You’ll expand data foundations, define data products, and embed governance to accelerate product development and smarter commercial decisions. This is a senior leadership role with broad impact.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary data functions in scale-ups or enterprises.
• Experience building and executing enterprise data strategies with governance.
• Strong ability to translate technical concepts into business language.

Responsibilities

• Drive data transformation and power enterprise data foundations.
• Define and deliver critical data products aligned to business needs.
• Lead Snowflake-powered scaling and modernization across the org.
• Establish robust data standards, governance, and roadmaps.
• Partner with senior leadership to translate data strategy into value.
