VP of Banking Partnerships | Payments | Fintech

The Company:

Their platform consolidates services that would otherwise require multiple providers, offering accounts, FX, international and domestic payments, acquiring, and Open Banking services globally via a single API. With licenses across the UK, Europe, Canada, and others, they provide fully compliant solutions to facilitate business expansion.

The Role:

• Build and develop strategic payments infrastructure partnerships among banking and payments providers, aligning with the Group’s banking strategy.
• Manage full-cycle growth of partnerships through strategy development, contract negotiations, and internal project management.
• Ensure strategic deal management based on KPIs and mutual interests.
• Develop and nurture relationships with strategic partners, including senior management teams.
• Support the Head of Payments Infrastructure and the wider business in developing and maintaining global banking and fintech relationships that add value.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• At least 8 years of professional experience, including 4+ years in developing partnerships within financial institutions and banks.
• Strong product knowledge and experience working across multiple business functions.
• Experience implementing industry-wide partnership networks.
• Proven negotiation skills for complex commercial and product deals with tier 1 banking and payments institutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and influencing teams internally and externally.
• Team-oriented, able to compromise and work collaboratively across teams.
