Job summary

You will evaluate open-source LLMs, fine-tune models for domain tasks, and prototype multimodal features, collaborating with IPB Tech AIML engineers to deliver production-ready results. Qualifications

• Formal AI/ML training with applied experience.
• Advanced Python and ML/DL stack proficiency (PyTorch, Hugging Face).
• Hands-on LLM evaluation, fine-tuning and deployment experience.
• Strong experimental design, evaluation and benchmarking of ML systems.
• Bridge research and production-ready capabilities.
• Awareness of inference cost, performance and optimization techniques.
• Strong communication to translate research into business terms.
• Publications or open-source contributions in AIML domains.
• MSc or PhD in ML, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead applied research on open-source LLM evaluation and deployment.
• Run fine-tuning for tone, lexicon and domain tasks.
• Investigate inference efficiency, tokenomics, and production routing.
• Prototype multimodal capabilities for future user experiences.
• Design rigorous evaluation methodologies and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with engineers to productionise research outputs.
• Publish internal findings and contribute to knowledge sharing.
