The Borgen Project is an international organization working to reduce global poverty by influencing U.S. and U.K. foreign policy. With 20 years of experience, it has supported legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.

Role Details

Position: Writer/Journalist Programme

Type: Part-time, unpaid, remote, 12 hours/week for 12 weeks (flexible completion time)

Responsibilities:

  1. Writing articles for BORGEN Magazine or The Borgen Project Blog
  2. Researching relevant topics
  3. Supporting advocacy efforts
  4. Assisting with fundraising by creating personal campaigns and meeting targets
Qualifications

No prior experience required. Passion for fighting poverty and social justice is essential. All backgrounds and GPAs considered.

Additional Information

This is an unpaid volunteer position, but college credit may be available. Programs start monthly, and applicants can choose their start date.
