Barnsley Football Club is seeking a Volunteer Teacher to support students in English, Maths, and Science within a dynamic academy environment. This role offers the chance to engage with young learners, contribute to their educational success, and be part of a team committed to excellence and community engagement.
Role Title: Volunteer Teacher (BTec level 1 OR GCSE English, Maths or Science) 6 hours a week max.

Placement Description:
The role of Volunteer Teacher involves working with our Hybrid Day Release students on a Tuesday afternoon (BTec 1 in Sports Studies) or Friday afternoon to support GCSE students with English, Maths and Science with either a Master Class or individual 1 to 1 support, depending on exam body. You will be required to undergo a Walsall FC Enhanced DBS check.

These volunteer roles are a fantastic opportunity to work within a professional football environment either through CPD (just a few hours a week within your current role), work with small groups (aprox 15), pass on your knowledge and skills after retirement or looking to return to work or a PGCE student wanting experience / placement opportunities.
