Yorkshire Cancer Research is looking for volunteers to join their retail team as Retail Assistants. This role involves customer service, sorting donations, and organizing the shop, contributing to a worthwhile cause while gaining valuable experience in the retail sector.

This is an excellent opportunity if you want to gain experience in the customer service and retail sector but would also suit someone who wishes to use their existing skills. Volunteering in our retail team is also an excellent way to make new friends and have fun. There is no minimum time commitment expected from our volunteers, so whether you can do a few hours a week or once a month, we’ll do our best to offer a role that fits your schedule. No previous experience is necessary as training will be provided.
What happens next?
If you decide to apply, a member of the volunteering team will contact you to arrange an initial chat with the shop manager. This is not an interview, just an opportunity to discuss what you'd like to do in the shop. From there, you can meet the rest of the volunteer team and get involved in the area that interests you!

We require one reference and proof of ID and home address for all volunteers. Certain roles will be subject to additional checks.
