Volunteer: Public Relations/Marketing Programme

Become part of an organization working to address global poverty by influencing U.S. and U.K. foreign policy. The Borgen Project advocates for the rights of those impacted by war, famine, and poverty, supporting legislation that benefits millions in developing countries.

Programme Details

This is a part-time, unpaid, remote programme of 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. You can complete it sooner if desired. The role aims to increase awareness of our work through various activities, including:

  • Creating branding campaigns
  • Conducting focus groups and market research
  • Pitching story ideas to media outlets
  • Developing fundraising strategies
  • Planning and presenting at informational meetings
  • Utilizing social media and web messaging strategies
  • Supporting advocacy efforts
