Job summary

Volunteercentrewi is seeking a Guide Dogs Collection Box Co-ordinator to help with the placement and collection of donation boxes. This flexible role allows you to support Guide Dogs while fitting around your own schedule.

You will be responsible for identifying suitable locations, engaging with shop owners, and managing the collection process. Full training and support will be provided.

Travel expenses will be covered, and volunteers aged 18-25 can earn Saltire Awards hours for their activity.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel around the local area to place and retrieve collection boxes.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and placing collection boxes in suitable locations.
• Talking to contacts about how the boxes support Guide Dogs.
• Emptying boxes every 3–6 months and banking the income.
• Keeping a record of the location of all boxes.
• Deciding to move boxes if they aren’t collecting much.
