Zusammenfassung

The Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC) is seeking a Business Support Coordinator on a full-time, fixed-term basis until 30 September 2027. The role is homebased with responsibilities to coordinate business practices across Sea Cadet Units and support Unit Trustees.

Key duties include governance support, recording unit activity, and handling unit grants/insurance. The role requires understanding of the voluntary sector and experience in charity processes, governance, and meeting support.

Qualifikationen

• Understanding of the voluntary and community sector.
• Experience supporting business processes in a charity.
• Knowledge of governance issues in the third sector.
• Experience developing processes, procedures and support guides.
• Experience supporting a committee, board or other formal meeting.

Aufgaben

• Unit grants and loans.
• Unit and MSSC Insurance.
• Accurate recording and reporting of the opening and closing of Sea Cadet Units and Sections.
• Support for effective governance arrangements by and within Sea Cadet Units.
• Supporting the Governance of the National Charity with effective minute taking of trustee meetings.
