Job summary

Millennium is seeking a Trade Support Specialist focused on volatility derivatives in London. You will work with Portfolio Managers and internal teams to streamline trade capture and reduce operational risk in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong market understanding, experience with traded products, and familiarity with Bloomberg, MarkitWire and related systems. You will provide T+1 support and address queries promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience with traded products including equity derivatives and volatility products.
• Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong market understanding and regulatory awareness.
• Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with MarkitWire, Markit Trade Manager and Bloomberg.

Responsibilities

• Automate and streamline trade capture processes with Portfolio Managers to reduce risk and increase speed.
• Support Middle Office to provide timely service and respond to initiatives.
• Monitor and clear trade exceptions from new executions promptly.
• Monitor Middle Office inboxes and resolve queries from PMs and counterparties.
• Coordinate electronic affirmation with onshore/offshore teams and counterparties.
• Address risk on non-electronic trades to mitigate issues.
• Provide T+1 support to remediate issues from the previous day.
• Escalate failures or potential issues to management to avoid P&L impact.
