Job summary

Millennium Management LLC is seeking an Equity Derivatives Trade Support Specialist to join the global Trade Support team. The role focuses on volatility derivatives and collaborating with Portfolio Managers to automate processes and reduce operational risk.

You will monitor trade queues, clear exceptions, and coordinate electronic and non-electronic affirmations across asset classes, while supporting T+1 remediation and escalating issues when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with traded products, including equity derivatives and volatility products.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong market understanding and awareness of industry changes.
• Collaborative work style with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Automate and streamline trade capture processes to reduce operational risk and increase speed.
• Support T0 and ensure timely Middle Office service to stakeholders.
• Trade queue: monitor and clear trade exceptions from new executions promptly.
• Monitor Middle Office inboxes and resolve queries from Portfolio Management teams and counterparties.
• Electronic affirmation: coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to match and resolve breaks across asset classes.
• Non-electronic affirmation: ensure risk on non-electronic trades is addressed.
• T+1 support: remediate issues from the previous day in a timely manner.
• Escalate issues to management to prevent erroneous P&L events.
