Job summary

Service Care Solutions is recruiting for an Empty Homes (Voids) Supervisor to join a housing organisation in Bracknell on a permanent basis. You will lead a team of trades operatives to deliver empty properties to the required lettable standard.

The role involves surveying properties, allocating remedial works, monitoring KPIs and ensuring compliance with safety standards and budgets. Permanent position with a salary of £48,180 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, property maintenance or a related service.
• Experience managing and motivating a team, ideally across multiple locations.
• Good understanding of commercial costs, budgets and working to deadlines.
• Awareness of Health & Safety requirements within a construction or maintenance environment.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to take ownership and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of empty homes, ensuring properties meet letting standards and are completed within timescales.
• Survey empty properties and allocate remedial works to trade teams.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of trades operatives, ensuring high standards of performance and compliance.
• Monitor operational KPIs, inspect completed works and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage external contractors, ensuring quality standards, SLAs and performance targets.

• Work collaboratively to deliver an effective, customer-focused empty homes service.

Location: Bracknell Salary: £48,180 per annum Contract: Permanent

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an Empty Homes (Voids) Supervisor to join a housing organisation on a permanent basis in Bracknell. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a construction, maintenance or social housing background to lead a team responsible for delivering empty properties to the required lettable standard, ensuring works are completed efficiently, safely and within agreed timescales and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
