Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group are working with a client to appoint a Void Manager for East London. This permanent role is responsible for managing void properties and leading the planned works division on a four-year contract, delivering schemes across tower blocks and scattered properties.

You will open 5–10 properties per week and manage subcontractors, the site team, and direct reports while ensuring works are delivered to specification with strict health and safety and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Experience running voids projects in social housing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and Asbestos Awareness are required.
• Permanent role with development and progression opportunities.

Void Manager - East London

Void Properties- Social Housing

Up to £55,000 plus Benefits

Our Client, a rapidly growing construction contractor are currently looking for a Void Manager to join their planned works division on a new four year contract in East London.

Projects that are being delivered to void properties across East London and will be delivered to tower blocks and scattered properties. You will be required to open 5-10 properties a week.

On a day to day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties:

• Management of sub-contractors
• Lead the site team to the best of your ability
• Manage delivery of works to specification
• Have several direct reports to manage including RLO's and office staff
• Pre & post inspections of works
• Health & safety & quality checks

My client are looking for someone with expirience runnning voids projects as well as strong communication skills and a proven track record managing projects within the the Social Housing sector. A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required.

This is a permanent position which will offer development as well as good progression opportunities for the successful candidate.
