Job summary

Squire Patton Boggs is seeking a Voice & Unified Communications Engineer to join the Network Communications team. You will maintain and evolve our global telephony, collaboration and UC platforms, ensuring secure, highly available services.

Based across our UK offices in Birmingham, Leeds, or Manchester, you will work with Mitel, Microsoft Teams and Cisco solutions, shaping future UC initiatives and partnering with stakeholders worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience across voice, telephony and unified communications technologies.
• Proven expertise in Mitel, Microsoft Teams and Cisco collaboration solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud technologies and VoIP infrastructure.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is advantageous.

We are now seeking a Voice & Unified Communications Engineer to join our Network Communications team, supporting the firm's global communications platforms and helping to shape their future development.

The successful candidate can be based in any of our Birmingham, Leeds, or Manchester offices.

You

You will be a technically strong and commercially minded communications professional with deep experience across voice, telephony and unified communications technologies. You will bring proven expertise in platforms such as Mitel, Microsoft Teams and Cisco collaboration solutions, alongside a strong understanding of networking, cloud technologies and VoIP infrastructure.

Equally comfortable resolving complex technical issues and leading improvement initiatives, you will be a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, service-focused environment. With excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach and a genuine enthusiasm for technology, you build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and take ownership of delivering exceptional service.

Experience within a law firm or professional services environment would be particularly advantageous.
