Job summary

REED Technology is seeking a Voice Services Software Engineer to develop and enhance a next-generation voice and contact centre platform. The role focuses on building Java-based call service applications within a cloud-based environment and integrating AI capabilities for improved voice services.

You will work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and deploy scalable voice solutions across large telecoms ecosystems, while aligning with architectural strategies and

Qualifications

Strong Java development experience.
Commercial telecoms/VoIP or UC experience required.
Experience developing SIP or call-handling applications.
Exposure to telecom frameworks like Rhino SLEE, JAIN SLEE, SIP Servlets or OCCAS.
Understanding of cloud-based service platforms.
Experience in Agile software engineering environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based voice and call service applications.
Build functionality within large-scale telecoms and contact centre environments.
Work with cloud-based voice service platforms and communications technologies.
Support integrations with Speech AI and conversational AI services.
Contribute to development of a new strategic communications platform.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Work with architects and engineering teams to deliver scalable voice solutions.
