Job summary

Cheshire College - South & West is seeking a Vocational Trainer in Professional Services to join our Crewe Ellesmere Port campus network, with flexibility to work at other campuses. You will train apprentices to Level 3, deliver classroom and workplace learning, and support progression while safeguarding learners according to college policies.

The role requires TAQA/A1 or equivalent, level 3 qualifications, driving licence, and an Enhanced DBS check, with opportunities for qualification support

Qualifications

• Assessor qualification (TAQA/A1) or commitment to work towards.
• Higher level vocational qualification level 3 or above.
• Minimum of 2 years occupational experience in HR, Business Administration, Customer Service or Accountancy.
• Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment.
• Full current driving licence and access to a car with business insurance.
• Up-to-date occupational experience.
• Enhanced DBS check.

Salary: £28,997 - £43,748 (per annum)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 per week
Location: Crewe Campus

We are seeking a Vocational Trainer in Professional Services to join our team at ourEllesmere Port Campus with the flexibility to work at our other Campuses.

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and inspiring Vocational Trainer to provide apprentices with an outstanding learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Training and assessment of learners up to Level 3, in the workplace and classroom;
• Supporting learner progress through assessment in the workplace and curriculum delivery;
• Ensuring timely achievement of apprenticeship frameworks and standards; and
• Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons inline with college policies.

Key Person Specification Requirements

• Assessor qualification (TAQA/A1 or equivalent) or commitment to work towards;
• Higher level vocational qualification level 3 or above;
• Minimum of 2 years occupational experience (HR, Business Administration, Customer Service or Accountancy);
