Job summary

Harbor seeks a Vocational Coordinator to join the Toledo team and oversee vocational programming, providing leadership, guidance, and support to the Vocational Services team. The role focuses on administrative oversight, service delivery, staff training, and ensuring high-quality vocational services for participants and community partners.

Education requirements include a Bachelor's in counseling or social work with 1 year vocational rehab experience, or an Associate's with 3 years, or 5 years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work or closely related field plus 1 year vocational rehabilitation experience; or Associate's degree plus 3 years vocational rehab experience; or 5 years' experience providing vocational rehab services.
• Preference given to those with CRC, LPC, LSW, LMHC licenses.
• Must be proficient with technology, Windows and Microsoft programs and able to generate and interpret performance data.

Responsibilities

• Create an inspiring team environment with open communication and champion excellent customer care.
• Supervise assigned staff including evaluations, hiring involvement, and disciplinary actions in coordination with Program Manager and HR.
• Ensure client needs are met regarding visit scheduling and payer source eligibility and verification.
• Train staff and supervise operations within assigned team, monitor payroll for accuracy.
• Identify issues impacting vocational service resources and propose improvements.
