Job summary

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated part-time music teacher to inspire pupils across Nottinghamshire. The role is casual, starting January 2027, supporting KS2–KS5, with opportunities to develop Vocal and Piano lessons over time.

You will have prior teaching experience in both primary and secondary settings, a passion for working with young people, and a commitment to safeguarding and innovative, inclusive teaching methods up to Grade 8.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience working as a teacher within both a Primary & Secondary School setting.
• Have a good understanding of the KS2 to KS5 music curriculum. Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
• Have a passion for working with young people.
• Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
• Innovative and resourceful teaching methods.
• Be able to teach Music up to and including Grade 8.

Responsibilities

• Deliver music lessons across primary and secondary settings within the Academy Trust.
• Support schools across the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust.

Job description

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic person who will take pride in being part of a team of music teachers, delivering excellent lessons across our Catholic Voluntary Academy.

This is a part-time role starting from January 2027 on a casual basis, pending completed pre-employment checks. You will support schools across the Our Lady of Our Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, working closely with both primary and secondary students.

You will have the opportunity to grow our Vocal and Piano lessons over time.

You will:

• Have previous experience working as a teacher within both a Primary & Secondary School setting.
