Russell Taylor Group is hiring a Warehouse Operative with VNA experience in Warrington. You will operate Very Narrow Aisle forklifts, manage stock movements, and assist with shipping and receiving to ensure accurate inventories and safe operations.

The role requires precise handling, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Salary is paid hourly, with fixed shifts and Sunday-Thursday schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating VNA forklifts or similar narrow aisle equipment with safety and precision.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems for inventory control and order processing.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Strong materials handling skills including heavy lifting.
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and documentation verification.
• Understanding of warehouse safety standards and best practices for equipment operation.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and quantities verification.

Responsibilities

• Operate VNA forklift trucks safely to load, unload and transport goods.
• Manage materials handling with precise stock placement and retrieval.
• Use warehouse systems to track inventory movements and update stock levels.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report issues for maintenance.
• Assist with shipping and receiving by verifying shipments against orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following safety protocols.
• Support operations through heavy lifting and manual handling as required.
