Job summary

Recruitment Pro in the Rotherham/Wath area is hiring a VNA Driver to handle safe, efficient movement, picking and stock replenishment in a busy warehouse. You will operate VNA trucks, unload deliveries and support daily KPIs while adhering to safety procedures.

Starting pay is £14 per hour with progression to £14.50 and £15.00 per hour; 40 hours per week with overtime. Shifts rotate: Days 6:00am–2:30pm and Afters 2:00pm–10:30pm, with attendance bonus after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• VNA licence (Valid).
• Minimum 1 year in warehouse/distribution.
• Experience operating FLTs in a busy warehouse.
• Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety.
• Experience working to productivity targets or KPIs.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong attendance and timekeeping.
• Reliable, proactive attitude and team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate VNA trucks safely and efficiently.
• Pick and replenish stock and unload deliveries.
• Move products around the warehouse and handle stock carefully.
• Complete system transactions accurately and on time.
• Support daily/hourly KPIs and report issues to the Shift Manager.
• Follow safe procedures and report Health & Safety concerns.

VNA Driver – Rotherham / Wath Area

Starting Pay: £14.00 per hour

Bonus: Up to £1,040 per annum after 12 weeks

Hours: 40 hours per week + overtime

Shifts: Rotating Days & Afters – 6:00am–2:30pm / 2:00pm–10:30pm

Location: Rotherham / Wath area

Recruitment Pro are currently recruiting an experienced VNA / Counterbalance FLT Driver on behalf of a well-established and successful client within the warehousing and distribution sector.

This is a permanent opportunity offering an excellent starting rate, structured pay progression, regular overtime opportunities and an additional attendance and attitude bonus.

You'll be joining a busy warehouse operation where safety, accuracy and productivity are extremely important.

Pay & Progression

• Silver – £14.00 per hour
• Gold – £14.50 per hour
• Diamond – £15.00 per hour

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rotating Monday-to-Friday Days/Afters pattern:

• Days: 6:00am–2:30pm
• Afters: 2:00pm–10:30pm

You'll work 40 hours per week, with additional overtime opportunities available.

Overtime rates

• Monday to Friday after 40 hours – 1.25x
• Weekends – 1.5x

The Role

As a VNA Driver, you'll play an important part in the safe and efficient movement, picking and replenishment of stock throughout a busy warehouse operation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating VNA trucks
• Picking and replenishing stock
• Unloading incoming deliveries
• Moving products safely throughout warehouse areas
• Manual handling of stock where required
• Completing relevant system transactions accurately and in full
• Supporting the achievement of daily and hourly KPIs
• Reporting issues or obstacles affecting productivity to the Shift Manager or Supervisor
• Following warehouse procedures and safe systems of work
• Identifying and reporting potential Health & Safety issues and near misses
• Contributing to a safe, organised and efficient working environment

Essential Requirements

• VNA licence (Valid)
• A minimum of 1 year's experience within a warehouse, distribution or labour-intensive environment
• Previous experience operating FLTs within a busy warehouse
• Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety
• Experience working to productivity targets or KPIs
• Good communication skills
• Strong attendance and timekeeping
• A reliable and proactive attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
