Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to shape the look, feel and performance of our stores from head office on Dartmoor. You will lead the merchandising strategy across our retail estate, creating engaging environments that bring our brand to life and drive sales.

Reporting to Store Development Manager, you will work with Store Managers, Marketing, and suppliers to influence the customer experience and commercial results.

Qualifications

• Previous visual merchandising experience in multi-site retail environments.
• Experience with store layouts, space planning, launches and refits.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer behaviour.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.

Description

We're looking for a creative and commercially focused Visual Merchandiser to join our Retail team and play a key role in shaping how our stores look, feel and perform.

Reporting to the Store Development Manager, you'll work closely with Store Managers, Retail Operations, Marketing, Property and supplier partners, you'll lead the visual merchandising strategy across our retail estate, creating engaging and inspiring shopping environments that bring our brand to life. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the customer experience, drive sales performance and make a visible impact across the business.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday

As our Visual Merchandiser, you'll take ownership of visual merchandising standards and execution across the retail estate, ensuring stores consistently deliver a compelling customer experience while supporting commercial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing visual merchandising standards and guidelines across the retail estate.
• Delivering seasonal campaigns, product launches, promotions and store relays.
• Optimising store layouts, space utilisation and customer journeys using sales and customer insights.
• Supporting new store openings, refits, remodels and store development projects.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers and brand partners to maximise product presentation and promotional opportunities.
• Coaching and supporting store teams to deliver visual merchandising standards consistently.
• Managing visual merchandising projects from concept through to implementation.
• Monitoring store standards and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Keeping up to date with retail and visual merchandising trends and introducing new ideas where appropriate.

About You

• Experience within visual merchandising in a multi-site retail environment.
• Experience of store layouts, space planning, launches, relays and refits.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer behaviour.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Creative with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
• Confident influencing and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passionate about creating engaging retail environments that enhance the customer experience.
• Willingness to travel to multiple store locations and, where required, stay away from home to support projects and business needs.
