Job summary

Cotswold Outdoor Group in Belfast is seeking a Field Visual Merchandiser working 15 hours per week across our Belfast City and Belfast Boucher Retail Park stores.

As a store-based member of the Visual Merchandising team, you’ll maintain visual standards and deliver clear, consistent communication to uphold our premium retail environment.

You’ll help plan seasonal layouts, coach store teams, and travel between Belfast locations to ensure compelling displays that inspire customers to explore more.

Qualifications

• Premium visual merchandising experience including window displays, mannequin styling and layout planning.
• Background in large store/field visual merchandising and using data to make informed commercial decisions.
• Strong leadership with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to inspire, motivate and influence teams.
• Creative and detail-oriented, delivering premium visual merchandising standards with precision.
• Adaptable, organized and flexible, with the ability to travel and work across our Belfast stores.

Responsibilities

• Carry out visual merchandising activities in stores following pre-planned agendas and store priorities.
• Identify commercial and visual opportunities during store visits and provide feedback to store management.
• Support development of regional visual merchandising strategy by identifying store focus areas and supporting seasonal layout planning.
• Coach and upskill store teams through workshops and hands-on training.
• Maintain strong working relationships with store management and ensure effective feedback cycles.
• Assist with planning and executing new store openings and enhancement projects with the Visual Merchandising team.

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out visual merchandising activities in stores, following pre-planned agendas and aligning with store prioritisation strategies
• Identifying commercial and visual opportunities during store visits and providing quality feedback to store management
• Contributing to the development of the regional visual merchandising strategy by identifying store focus areas and supporting seasonal layout planning
• Coaching and upskilling store teams through workshops and hands-on training
• Maintaining strong working relationships with store management, ensuring effective feedback cycles and collaboration
• Playing a key role in planning and executing new store openings and enhancement projects with support from the wider Visual Merchandising team

We're looking for someone who

• has experience in premium visual merchandising, including window displays, mannequin styling, and layout planning
• brings a background in large store or field visual merchandising roles and confidently uses data to make informed commercial decisions
• is a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to inspire, motivate, and influence teams
• is creative and detail-oriented, consistently delivering premium visual merchandising standards with precision
• is adaptable, organizedand flexible, with the ability to travel and work across our Belfast stores
