Formación

• Experience supporting children or adults with visual impairments.
• Background in education, SEND, care or another relevant support role.
• A patient, practical and flexible approach.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Experience with Braille or visual impairment equipment, although not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting pupils with visual impairments during lessons and activities.
• Helping pupils access learning materials in a suitable format.
• Using or assisting with enlarged resources, accessible technology and specialist equipment.
• Supporting pupils to move safely and confidently around the school.
• Encouraging communication, independence and participation.
• Working with teachers and other professionals to adapt support where needed.
