Vision Systems Junior Applications Engineer

Location: Markyate, St Albans

Contract Type: Permanent

Our client, a producer of Vision Inspection Systems, is currently recruiting for a Junior Applications Engineer at their St Albans office. As an Applications Engineer, you will support internal staff and customers, including on-site installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities - Vision Systems Junior Applications Engineer

• Provide technical support to internal staff and customers, including joint sales visits
• Conduct product trials and application evaluations for new enquiries
• Develop vision system applications and configure barcode systems
• Support on-site installation, commissioning, and customer technical support
• Contribute technical input to sales quotations and attend supplier training

Qualifications & Requirements - Vision Systems Junior Applications Engineer

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Programming, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Camera vision applications experience (preferred but not essential)
• PLC programming or relevant industry experience (preferred but not essential)
