FirstPort is seeking a Visiting Development Manager to oversee residential development operations with a strong emphasis on customer service and safety. The role supports residents, coordinates with contractors, and fosters community engagement across our developments.

The successful candidate will manage daily checks, maintain records, and work with families and local authorities. This part-time position offers flexible hours (30 per week) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence and problem solving in a housing environment.
• Strong communication skills to resolve issues effectively.
• Solid understanding of health and safety practices and emergency responses.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Organised, methodical administration with accurate record keeping.
• Outgoing personality, proactive, team oriented and able to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high profile around the development and office, ensuring residents are checked within requirements.
• Perform daily safety checks, keep records, protect data and maintain communal areas with contractors.
• Manage works, raise orders, supervise contractors, monitor progress and sign off completion.
• Encourage Residents Association and support social activities to enhance resident experience and community.
• Liaise with residents' families, local authorities and health professionals as required.
• In emergencies, contact the appropriate response team or authorities.
• Assist with sales listings and help new residents settle in; represent the company at team meetings.
• Collaborate with peer Development Managers for guidance and travel to meetings as needed.
