Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status and be eligible to work in the UK.
• Experience teaching children and young people with vision impairment, or willingness to undertake mandatory training.
• Willing to work across family homes, nurseries, mainstream schools, special schools and FE colleges.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, teaching and support for children and young people with vision impairment.
• Deliver education across birth to 25 years in homes, nurseries, mainstream schools, special schools and FE colleges.
• Travel across the city of Birmingham to support settings.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and DBS requirements.
