Job summary

Cheshire East Council is recruiting Virtual School Advisors to ensure high-quality educational experiences for children in care. You will support colleagues and foster carers in identifying suitable education settings and navigating applications, while collaborating with SEND professionals to support Education, Health and Care Plans.

• Experience working within an education setting.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues from multiple sectors.
• Ability to present information clearly and transparently.

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues and foster carers to identify suitable education settings and navigate application processes.
• Work with SEND professionals to support children with Education, Health and Care Plans.
• Oversee a caseload of young people; build relationships with education settings across EYFS to specialist provisions.
• Deliver training to Designated Teachers, social workers, school governors and other professionals.
