Job summary

Magellan Health, Inc. seeks a Personal Financial Counselor at the Lakenheath installation to deliver one-on-one and group financial counseling to service members and their families.

You will education on budgeting, debt management, and planning for deployments, while coordinating with POC teams across the installation. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of counseling experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Tier 2 investigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English.
• May be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Able to obtain a Tier 2 background investigation.
• Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Develop and deliver financial education materials and workshops.
• Coordinate and advertise PFM classes and seminars.
• Assist with DoD-compliant virtual counseling as needed.
• Maintain DoD security and reporting processes.
