Job summary

Trojan Wellbeing seeks a Remote Military Veteran Utility Warehouse Partner to deliver peer support and guidance to fellow veterans and frontline colleagues. You will discuss needs, signpost to mental health resources, and maintain strict confidentiality while building trust within the community.

This flexible, remote role focuses on financial wellbeing, assisting with household bill reductions and income opportunities, in collaboration with Trojan Wellbeing to strengthen early intervention

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in peer support or mentoring, especially within military, emergency services, or frontline work communities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to listen actively and hold sensitive, confidential conversations.
• Basic understanding of mental health and wellbeing concepts, with willingness to undertake mental health first aid or related training.
• Comfort with remote work, including use of phone, video calls, and online platforms to connect with colleagues and manage information.
• Ability to explain household utility and bill reduction options clearly and help individuals make informed financial decisions.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and respect for confidentiality in all interactions.
• Military veteran or lived experience in a high-pressure frontline or emergency response environment is highly beneficial.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing flexible workloads and follow-ups with multiple colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support and mentoring to fellow veterans and frontline colleagues.
• Signpost to mental health and trauma resources while maintaining confidentiality.
• Promote Trojan Wellbeing programs and share field feedback with the organization.
• Help colleagues access household bill reduction options and income-generating opportunities.
• Manage flexible workloads and follow-ups in a remote setting.
