Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Remote MSK Physiotherapist to provide telephone and video assessments for members, with occasional attendance at Bupa Place Salford Quays or another Bupa Centre as required. The role is permanent, full-time on a 37.5 hour week with flexible shifts.

The successful candidate will hold HCPC registration, UK post-qualification MSK experience at band 6/7 level, and deliver high-quality triage and onward referrals while working remotely between 8am and 8pm.

Qualifications

• Two years UK post-qualification MSK experience.
• Band 6/7 MSK level experience with 1-1 clinical delivery.
• HCPC registration and degree holder required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver telephone assessments via video and audio.
• Provide diagnosis, self-management advice, and onward referrals.
• Monitor and escalate complex cases as needed to Clinical Lead.
• Manage customer pathways to achieve appropriate clinical outcomes at best cost.

**Virtual MSK Physiotherapist****Remote based with occasional attendance in either Bupa Place (Salford Quays, M50 3SP) or alternative local Bupa Centre as required.****Permanent****Salary: £43,000 full time equivalent****Flexible shift pattern – based on 37.5 hour working week, minimum working hours of 22.5 hours per week, including 1 weekend in every 4**The service we provide operates between 8am to 8pm Monday to Sunday. Flexible evening and weekend shifts available to suit. The service runs alongside other providers to ensure fast access to triage where no other GP referral has been made.The service serves two purposes; to provide support and information to enable individuals to self-manage their musculoskeletal condition and where necessary, facilitate onward referral to the appropriate recognised clinicians or services.If you can bring us the skills we’re looking for, we can help you build a career at a company that truly has belief in you.**You’ll help us make health happen by:*** Delivering excellent standards of telephone assessment via video and audio capabilities.* Providing diagnosis, prescription of self-management techniques and onward referral within the services.* Monitoring and follow up complex cases and red flag cases, escalate where required and appropriate to the Clinical Lead.* Assessing customer needs and provide appropriate advice and support.* Managing customer pathways, delivering the most appropriate clinical outcomes at the best cost for the customer.**Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:*** 2 years UK post qualification experience* Strong experience equivalent to a band 6 or 7 physiotherapist in an MSK setting alongside a strong history of 1-1 clinical delivery.* Be up-to-date with own clinical practice and demonstrate an ability to maintain clinical competence.* Degree or equivalent and accredited with the HCPC* Ability to evaluate, plan and prioritise workload within demanding timescales.* Excellent application of clinical knowledge with the ability to respond rapidly and decisively.**Benefits**Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
