Job summary

Garage 59 is a championship-winning racing team based in Northampton, UK, delivering high-performance race programs and exclusive automotive creations. We are expanding our technical operations and building a team that shares a passion for precision, performance, and automotive excellence.

We are seeking a highly skilled Vinyl Technician to produce, install, and maintain logos and liveries for race cars, manage vinyl stock, run PPF installations, and edit graphics using industry tools.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using and maintaining Roland TrueVis printer/plotters and Summa plotters.
• Experienced with software tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Versaworks, and GoSign.
• Knowledge of various vinyl types, including Matt, Gloss, and chrome finishes, along with different application methods.

Responsibilities

• Produce, install, and maintain logos, liveries, and vinyl applications for race cars and associated equipment.
• Handle stock control of vinyl inventory and necessary tools for the entire company, ensuring efficient operations.
• Perform PPF installation and maintain workshop machines, including printers and plotters, for optimal performance.
• Manage the design and editing of livery and logo graphics using industry-standard software.
• Support individual projects related to the business.
