About Us

We’re GenXO – a creative digital marketing agency based in Birmingham, helping brands stand out through smart strategy, viral content, and bold storytelling. We bridge the gap between generations helping Gen X-led businesses connect with the next-gen audience (what we call Generation O – Omega, the future).

Right now, we’re looking for a videographer, someone with a sharp eye, a creative mindset, and solid camera skills – to join us on exciting upcoming projects.

The Role

This is a freelance, on-location role, ideal for someone local to Birmingham who knows how to film high-quality content for social media, ads, interviews, events and more. You don’t need to be an editor (though that’s a bonus), but you do need to know your way around a camera and be confident capturing the right angles, moments, and moods.

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone based in or near Birmingham (essential for this role)

• Proven experience in video recording (please share portfolio/showreel)

• Owns or has access to professional-level camera gear

• Able to work independently or with a creative director on-site

• Strong sense of composition, lighting, and movement

• Good communication skills, reliable, and easy to work with

• Bonus: drone, gimbal, or lighting kit knowledge
