Live Wire has spent the past 10 years working across Formula 1, supplying technology to major teams and F1 Management. Our work includes constructing viewer experiences in teams' hospitality suites, paddock, garages, and factories, elevating each of the 24 races a year. We collaborate with suppliers to deliver pioneering technology and incorporate innovation into all our projects.
We provide AV technology for various events, including Festivals, Concerts, Conferences, Theatre, and Dance. Our clients include large concert halls in London such as Southbank Centre, Barbican, Sadlers Wells, for whom we provide technicians, support, and equipment.
Live Wire is seeking AV technicians to join our traveling team, working closely with clients such as Mercedes, Red Bull, Aston Martin, McLaren, F1 Management, and F1 Academy. Our technicians utilize cutting-edge equipment and oversee multiple event types, from driver interviews to hospitality entertainment and live race commentary, including pit links. The role requires working under pressure to exceed client expectations and continuously improve equipment, events, and team performance.
Responsibilities include meticulous care and management of equipment, proactive packing procedures for safe shipping, ongoing maintenance throughout the season, and prompt action on damages or repairs.
Technicians are also responsible for writing comprehensive race reports, providing detailed insights into build, scheduling, equipment usage, and sustainability tracking after each event. Timely delivery and distribution of these reports to relevant parties are essential.
We encourage our AV technicians to mentor junior team members, fostering confidence in event build and operation, and exemplify high work standards. Collaboration with the wider operations, production, project, and finance teams is vital to ensure seamless race delivery and continuous improvement for upcoming events.
